Managing units and vacancies

In Veni, residents live in units. Keeping your unit list accurate keeps occupancy numbers right and gives every resident a place to attach to.

Adding a unit

On a building's Residents tab, choose + Add unit and enter a Unit label; whatever you call it on the buzzer or lease, like 4B, PH2, or Garden. The new unit appears immediately as Vacant, ready for an invite.

Vacant units

A unit with no active tenant shows a gray Vacant pill and No resident. Vacancies roll up two places:

• The Overview occupancy figure (for example, *18/22*).
• The Dashboard's Occupancy lane, which flags units that may be vacant, including active tenancies with no entry activity for over 30 days, which sometimes means someone has quietly moved out.

Occupied units

An occupied unit lists its resident with an Active pill. A single unit can hold more than one resident; roommates each get their own row under the same unit label.
